  1. General rule: plural is derived by adding -s to the words, cf.:
  2. The words terminated in singular by -s -ç -tz -x -z remain unchanged in plural, cf.:
  1. The feminine adjectives in -a and the adjectives in -e, when in front of a noun, develop into:
    1. -ei (pronounced [ej] or [i]) before a consonant, cf.:

    2. granda femna : grandei femnas,
      brave garçon : bravei garçons.
    3. -eis (pronounced [ejz] or [iz]) before a vowel, cf.:

    4. granda illa : grandeis illas,
      brave amic : braveis amics.
    Note that when the adjective follows the noun, it forms plural according to the general rule, cf.:
      femna granda : emnas grandas,
      amic brave : amics braves.
