The qualificative adjectives are invariable when placed after the nouns; when they are placed in front of the nouns, the plural is formed with -ei / -i (for Maritime and Rhodanian, respectively) regardless the gender (masculine or feminine), cf.:

• la brave chato => lei bràvei chato / li bràvi chato,
• la chato bravo => lei chato bravo / li chato bravo.
