Simple Tenses

The verbal endings in Judeo-Spanish differs only slightly from modern Spanish:

the endings -àsh, -ésh, -ísh for the 2nd. p. pl. of the Present Indicative;
the endings in -ash for the 2nd. p. pl. of the Imperfect Indicative;
the endings -í and -imos for the 1st. p. sg. and pl., respectively, of the Past Simple Indicative of the verbs of the 1st Conjugation;
the endings -ates, -ites for the 2nd p. sg. of the Past Simple Indicative;
the ending -edesh for the 2nd p. pl. of the Future Indicative;
the final -s in the 2nd p. pl. was transformed into -sh.

The forms are identical with those of the Simple Pluperfect Indicative.
